Hi, I’m Daniel D’Addario, Salon’s culture reporter.
From January 2011 to December 2012, I was a staff writer for The New York Observer, covering the arts and society.
I’ve also written for The New Republic, Slate, Out, Bloomberg Businessweek, The Awl, The Daily Beast, This Recording, Interview, Newsweek (R.I.P.), and The Daily (ditto), and I’m a member of the National Book Critics Circle. I am especially interested in cultural and literary reporting and criticism as well as gay culture. I have a B.A. in American studies and English from Columbia.
